Dumaguete – Apo Island Itinerary

Dumaguete Itinerary | Words and Wanderlust

Many of my favourite writers found fervour along Dumaguete’s boulevard. And I’ve always wondered, what charm does a sleepy seaside city hold against wordsmiths?

I guess I am about to find out.

Dumaguete – Apo Island Itinerary

In June, I will be embarking on a family road trip from our home base in Mindanao to my father’s roots in Siquijor. But since I am in charge with planning, I very cunningly included a detour to Dumaguete and Apo Island.

The former, to find my muse. The latter, to reconnect with my element.

Hi there, glad that you consider Dumaguete and Siquijor as part of you week long road trip. If I may suggest, you can have your early breakfast at the public market for bud-bod kabog or suman and sikwate. There will be no fast food open around robinson before taking to Malatapay. So you can have your breakfast at the city center, for fast food open 24 hours like jollibee and chowking near Lee Super Plaza.

then, its nit necessary to have a tour guide at apo island. since its a small island, you can explore it by your own.
then, you can have lunch at Coco Grove, Apo Island.
